July Festivals


Soak up the sights and sounds of family friendly festivals this July at the Clonmel Junction Festival (July 2-11), Spraoi in the Park, Waterford (July 2-4), JFK Dunbrody Festival, New Ross (July 16-18) and Waterford's SprOg (July 26-28), and Ardmore's Pattern Festival (July 23-25).


Get Out There!


Take a walk in the Glen of Aherlow, Co. Tipperary; cast a line for brown trout in Cahir, or salmon in Ballyduff, or try your hand at sea angling in Ardmore or Youghal. Follow a gardening trail and be sure to visit Carlow's Floral Festival (July 31-Aug 8).

Situated just half a mile above the charming seaside town of Ardmore, this holiday property has an enclosed south west-facing garden from which you can enjoy magnificent sunsets. Ideal for families and couples alike, the cottage boasts a separate nursery with cot and changing area and a delightful reading/sun room with patio doors to the rear garden.

Ardmore has beautiful sandy beaches, shops, pubs, a restaurant, a craft shop, a magnificent 5 star hotel, a harbour, ancient sites including St. Declans Tower (200 yards), boat trips and magnificent cliff walks. Further afield there are many attractions to explore including Lismore Castle, Blarney Castle and Jameson Whiskey Centre. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles.
